I believe it’s never a bad time for a good story because stories are abundant, and only limited by how many tomorrows we have for their telling.
Story telling at its best is a work of collaboration, and I have had the great fortune of working with people who enjoy being part of that amazing process. I am grateful for producers, editors, camera and sound operators, production assistants and distributions people I have had the opportunity to work with on the show. I am even more grateful that our print publishers are doing what they must to keep the presses turning.
Our stories take us on journeys, they inspire us to be better, they instill hope and sometimes they just make us smile and belly laugh every now and then.

These stories are written in Carl White’s voice as a producer and TV Host that travels and collects stories primarily in North and South Carolina. The stories are about the interesting people and places visited and often weaved together with some of life’s memories.
As we celebrate the new year with great hope for a respectable 2019, it is a practical tradition to reflect on the past and make a few plans for a better tomorrow.
Last year at this same time, I joined with many of the more than 7 billion people on earth and paused for a moment of reflection. We now find ourselves doing the same thing again.
Last year I wrote about our beloved dogs and the fact that on the Chinese calendar, 2018 was the year of the Dog. We now enter 2019, the year of the Earth Pig.
